District Governor Visit.

District Governor John Anderson and his wife Claire were welcome visitors on December 10th. John gave an inspirational talk on what's happening in Rotary District 5040, and had many personal anecdotes on what Rotary has meant for him. He also presented several awards to members of the Squamish Rotary Club.

President Anne received the World Class Presidents Award or 'Leading by Example' pin, given to Club presidents who have donated to the Rotary Foundation and encouraged their members to donate.

Paul Harris Fellow awards were presented to Kevin Haberl, Lisa Ames, George McKenzie, and Don Patrick.

President Anne presented her Certificate of Recognition to Denise Imbeau. This award is for a club member who has exemplified the Rotary motto - Service above Self, and has made a significant contribution to the club.
