The British Columbia Honours and Awards Secretariat is currently accepting nominations for the province's highest honour, the Order of British Columbia. Established in 1989, the Order of B.C. recognizes those people who have served with the greatest distinction and excelled in any field of endeavour that benefits the people of B.C. or elsewhere. It represents the highest form of recognition the province can extend to its citizens.

Nomination forms are available by going to www.protocol.gov.bc.ca and following the link for the Order of British Columbia. All entries should reach the Honours and Awards Secretariat office in Victoria by 5 p.m. on June 10, 2010.
