Mike Storey: Adopt-a-VIllage project in Laos.

Mike is a member of the Rotary Club of Ladner. They have been involved in the Adopt-a-Village program in Loas for a number of years.

The main focus in Laos is the distribution of water filters.  Each filter provides a family of up to (8) persons with their daily requirement of clean drinking water.  They do a whole village at a time.  It could be a 40 person village and have done up to a 240 family village which is pretty large.

They distributed 500 water filters to 4 different villages on their recent Feb 2019 trip to Laos. Mike brought back a water filter that he brings to presentations so people can see them.

They do this service by working with a Rotarian from Ontario who runs a Canadian registered charity that works exclusively in Laos.  The primary focus of Adopt A Village in Laos is clean water, education and health.
