Steve Rochetta: Grizzlies of the BC South Coast

Steve Rochetta is the Ecosystem Biologist with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources in the Squamish Office.
Steve has been tracking grizzlies throughout the South Coast Region and Sea-to-Sky for decades. He will explain how bears are researched at the ground level through observing, use of tracking collars, DNA from hair and examining scat! It is said that nobody knows more about the grizzlies than Steve.
