The Squamish Rotary Club partnered with Sea to Sky Community Services to enhance the area around the Youth Centre.
The project included building 5 cedar garden boxes, and constructing a small pavilion. It was a fun community project with Rotary providing funding and volunteer labour.

On completion of the project, we received a thank you note from the Youth Centre staff.  Click "Read More".

Hello Rotarians,

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you so very much for all of the many hours of work put in to make the Youth Centre pavilion and garden boxes happen. We are so grateful for your support in choosing to make it a reality, for your time and energy over the course of the project, and for your belief that Squamish youth are deserving of a beautiful, engaging and well-kept space.  On the Thursday after the final roof build, we immediately had a group of youth set up shop under the pavilion with tables and chairs, and they basically spent the entire evening right there. So in case you were wondering, this project has already been fully embraced and adopted by the community.

Sincerely,

The Squamish Youth Centre Staff Team
